Outreach Mission

Off the Curb is a youth outreach program based in Newport, RI. For the past 14 years, we have dedicated ourselves to building confidence and esteem in the youth through the power of dance. We use hip hop dance as an alternative to the use of drugs and violence. We offer grant funded dance classes to schools, as well as outreach programs to community centers throughout the state. These dance classes are open to all youth and provide for them a safe environment for them to learn dance routines. These students also get the opportunity to perform throughout the year.

THE PERFORMANCE TROUPE

We also have a high caliber performance troupe of the most talented and dedicated young people in the program that travel nationally and internationally bringing forth the message of no drugs and no violence as well as encouraging more young people to get involved in positive things.  They have opened up concerts for 50 cent, Missy Elliot, Busta Rhymes, P Diddy and many others...They perform youth throughout the country and inspire thousands!!!!
